Our goal is improving live caption quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2014 the FCC issued an order about best practices for caption quality. Unfortunately, live captions still have many problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We ask the FCC to do these things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Start a Notice of Inquiry into caption quality metrics<\/li><li>Provide guidance about using Automatic Speech Recognition<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We look forward to working with all stakeholders on practical consumer-focused caption quality metrics.
